A possible post medieval extractive pit is visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs of the 1940s adjacent to Glebe Farm, Owermoigne. The pit is sub-oval and measures 15 m by 10 m. (1) The pit is not visible on the most recent comprehensive photography available to the project. (2) This feature was digitally plotted as part of the Wild Purbeck Mapping Project.
