Full Description
A probable Bronze Age round barrow site is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs taken in 2005. The site is centred at ST 9798 1040 and comprises a circular ring-ditch which probably defines a Bronze Age funerary monument such as a round barrow. <1>
Plough-levelled round barrow moderately well defined as a slightly sub-circular, annular cropmark on aerial photographs dated 2005. The outer ditch has a diameter of c20m; there appears to be be a less well defined concentric inner ditch with a diameter of c11m. No evidence for mound or bank material, or for other internal features could be discerned with confidence.
