Summary
Site of a possible Bronze Age pond barrow visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. It forms part of a wider group of round barrows running in an irregular east-west line on the crest of a ridge immediately south of the A35.

Full Description
Six round barrows situated south of the Bridport road, about 2 1/2 miles from Dorchester; 'C' - (121) - SY 64759030. Bowl (?) barrow, 60 ft diameter and 3 ft high. Ploughed. <1> <3>
'C'. SY 64759031. Bowl (?) barrow, diameter 20.0 metres, height 1.3 metres. Ploughed. 'A', 'C', 'D', 'E', 'F'. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
Site of a possible Bronze Age pond barrow visible as cropmarks on aerial photographs. It forms part of a wider group of round barrows running in an irregular east-west line on the crest of a ridge immediately south of the A35 (Roman road RR 4f). <8-10>
