Site of a Bronze Age barrow visible as an earthwork on aerial photographs. It forms part of a wider group of round barrows running in an irregular east-west line on the crest of a ridge immediately south of the A35.

Full Description
Six round barrows situated south of the Bridport road, about 2 1/2 miles from Dorchester; 'E' - (123) - SY 64899024. Bowl barrow, 60 ft diameter and 7 ft high with large excavation hollow in top. <1> <3>
'E'. SY 64899024. Bowl barrow, diameter 21.0 metres, height 2.8 metres, not ploughed. No visible ditch. 'A', 'C', 'D', 'E', 'F'. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
