Summary
Site of a Bronze Age barrow visible as a cropmarked mound and outer ditch on aerial photographs. It forms part of a wider group of round barrows running in an irregular east-west line on the crest of a ridge immediately south of the A35.

Full Description
Six round barrows situated south of the Bridport road, about 2 1/2 miles from Dorchester; 'F' - (124) - SY 64979023. Ditched double bowl (?) barrow, ploughed almost flat (a) (b). Listed by Grinsell as bowl barrow, 28 paces diameter and 2 ft high. <1> <3>
'F'. SY 64969023. Barrow, diameter 16.0 metres approximately, height 0.3 metres. It appears as a single circular mound ploughed almost flat. There is no visible evidence of a double mound or of a ditch. 'A', 'C', 'D', 'E', 'F'. Re-surveyed at 1:2500 on M.S.D. <4>
