Full Description

The place-name Osmington Mill was recorded on the OS 1st edn 1in map (1811) (1). A sharp change in the alignment of the stream running through the settlement shown on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1889) (2) suggests a possible site for the mill implied by the place name.
