Full Description

Bifurcating ditched trackway or droveway clearly defined on aerial photography dated 2005. The western arm of the monument is aligned north west - south east and is visible for a distance of c180m, with a width of c13m. The eastern arm is aligned NNW-SSE, and can be traced for a distance of c146m. There are faint hints of a corresponding eastern ditch, giving a provisional width of c 16m. No evidence for survival of metalling or other surfaces could be discerned. The trackway was digitally plotted during the Dorset Stour NMP (1). The feature has more recently been destroyed by aggrgate quarrying,.
