Monument record MDO32412 - Round barrow north east of Manor Farm, Bradford Abbas
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A possible Bronze Age round barrow is visible as cropmarks of a ring ditch on aerial photographs. It is defined by a relatively broad irregular ditch which encloses an area measuring 16m across. It is possible that it is the remains of a round house but the dimensions make this unlikely.

Full Description
It is situated on a south-west facing slope at about 70m above OD, overlooking a dry valley which extends south towards the River Yeo. A linear feature appears to cross the ring ditch but it is not clear which feature is earlier (see NMR Monument record 1539506). <1-3>
