Summary

Plough levelled double-ditched concentric round barrow, moderately defined as a cropmark with a maximum diameter of around 28 metres. The feature was digitally plotted from aerial photographs by the Dorset Stour NMP project.

Full Description

Plough levelled concentric 'double-ditched' round barrow moderately defined as a circular, annular cropmark on aerial photography dated 2009. The outer ditch has a diameter of c28m, whilst the inner ditch has a diameter of c18m. No evidence for other internal features or for mound/bank material was discerned. The feature was digitally plotted from aerial photographs by the Dorset Stour NMP project (1).
