Full Description

A sinuous earthwork bank running from the clifftop E of Clavel Tower to a point above the industrial complex on the E shore of Kimmeridge Bay. It was shown as an earthwork on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1) and was the trackbed of a tramway built by the Bituminous Shale Co in 1848 (2).
