Full Description

A disused magazine, probably associated with a nearby coastal battery (MWX4436) recorded in 1787, is shown on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1). The tithe map (2) shows a structure named Rock House in approximately this location, but this may be intended for the summerhouse nearby (MDO26713).
