Full Description

The OS 1st edn 25in map (1) and subsequent historic mapping shows a small sub-circular pond on Hill Point, within a clearing in a tract of coniferous plantation. Current OS mapping shows it as an irregular figure-of-eight shaped feature. It is unclear whether this is a natural feature or was had a specific function such as wildfowling.
