Full Description

A building with a small cluster of adjacent enclosures is shown on the tithe map (c 1840) (1) and, with two additional buildings, on the OS 1st edn 25in map(1889) (2). The settlement is identified on the latter as Milford Cottage. The buildings are not shown on the 2nd edn 25in map (1901) (3) or subsequent mapping and the settlement had presumably been abandoned by this time.
