Full Description

The 1st (1889) (1) and 2nd (2) (1903) edn OS 25in maps show a narrow plot alongside a stream with the convention for an orchard. However, the 3rd edn (3) (1929) labels the site 'Alder Bed', suggesting that it was then producing osiers for basketry.
