Full Description

The OS 1st edn 25in map (1890) (1) marks a post on the shore on the E side of Fitzworth Heath. It is aligned with a low tide tributary of Ower Lake shown on the map and may have been intended as an aid to small boats navigating the inlet to a landing point close to the post. The post is also shown on the OS 2nd edn 25 in map (2)
