Full Description
The name Conniger Lane marked on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1889-90) (1) adjacent to St Mary's church, Wareham, and a number of earlier field names containing similar place-name elements in the same area (2) suggests the former presence of a rabbit warren , known as a 'coney garth' or conygar. The precise location is uncertain.
