Full Description

A building marked Poole Water Works is shown on the 1st edn OS 25in map (1889) (1). The 2nd edn ((1901) (2) shows a number of filter beds and reservoirs to the N, fed by the stream descending the Luscombe valley. The complex is shown as disused on the 3rd edn 1:2500 map of 1925 (3).
