Full Description

A sluice is shown in the bar across the mouth of Salterns Marsh / the Blue Lagoon on the OS 3rd edn 1:2500 map (1925) (1) and the 4th edn (1933) (2), suggesting an attempt to control tidal flows and perhaps to reclaim the enclosed area (3).
