Full Description
SY 66218972 and SY66198948. Bowl barrows. Two ring-ditches, 10 and 15 paces in diameter respectively, visible as parch marks in pasture in 1976. (Not visible on OS air photographs 79 060 027-8). <1>
Prehistoric ring ditch visible north of Clandon Farm, Winterborne St. Martin. The site is visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs <2> and appears to have an internal mound perhaps indicating that it is the site of a plough-levelled Bronze Age barrow.. The site was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project.
