Full Description
A lodge is marked at the entrance to a house called Shelly Hill on the OS 4th edn 1:2500 map (1932) (1). A building on the same footprint was shown on the 2nd (1898) (2) and 3rd edition (1909) (3) maps but probably did not function as a lodge until the drive to Shelly Hill was moved, prior to the 3rd edn map. A building with approximately the same footprint is extant on the site (4).
