Full Description

Grove Common is shown as an area of approximately 9 ha of unimproved heathy ground on the OS 1st edn 25in map (1871) (1), and was probably an historic area of common land. The S side of Grove Common lay contiguous to Jumpers Common (MDO33084). Grove Common has subsequently been developed for housing.
