Full Description

The OS 2nd edn 25in map (1901) (1) shows the word 'Windmill' adjacent to a stream or drainage ditch running into the eastern side of Lytchett Bay. No structure is shown on the map (or on subsequent maps) and it is likely that this was a windpump.
