A double-ditched Bronze Age bowl barrow. Recorded as an extant earthwork by the RCHM and also visible as a cropmark on aerial photographs

Also visible on aerial photographs {1} {2} {3} {4} as a cropmarked circular mound surrounded two ring ditches, the inner ditch approximately 14 metres in diameter and the outer ditch approximately 28 metres in diameter. It is part of a linear Bronze Age barrow cemetery running northeast-south west along the edge of Big Wood. It was digitally plotted during the South Dorset Ridgeway Mapping Project. Ditched bowl barrow, 54ft. in diam and 5ft. high, surrounded by a wide ditch. {5}
