Summary
A possible bowl barrow was identified within the grounds of Bridehead in 1980. It is situated on the ridge top at the west end of Big Wood. It comprises a circular mound with a diameter of 11 metres, and height of 0.5 metres.

Full Description
SY 60368941. A circular mound on the ridge-top at the west end of Big Wood, probably a bowl barrow. Diameter 11.0m, height 0.5m. Not ploughed. No visible ditch. Discovered during field investigation. Surveyed at 1:2500 on MSD. <1>
