Summary
A medieval deer park at Wootton Fitzpaine is referred to in an inquisition of 1315. The park pale survives as a bank in places and encloses around 130 acres.

Full Description
SY 375 950. The earliest reference to a park here is in an inquisition of 1315. The Park Pale, encompassing 130 acres survives in two places, at SZ 377 953 where it is 6 feet high and 18 feet wide and at SY 369 947 where it is 2-3 feet high and 13 feet wide. <1> <2>
