Summary
The remains of a medieval strip field system is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs in the field to the west of Holy Trinity Church. It was digitally plotted during the Upper Frome and Sydling Valley AIM project.

Full Description
[Centred at ST 57320080].
Two grass covered fields with Md. strip lynchets. In the N.E. field the lynchets are set in a NE-SW direction, regularly spaced and parallel, and average 1.3 m. high. The lynchets are cut by a deep track leading from the farm nearby. In the S.W. field there are two strip lynchets, averaging 0.5 m. high, set in a NW-SE direction. (1)
