Monument record MDO3518 - Dyke near Deadman's Coppice, Ashmore

Summary

A prehistoric earthwork dyke some one hundred and fifty metres long, aligned south west to north east. The south-western end of the dyke lies within Deadman's Coppice where it survives as a shallow ditch and bank, the latter standing approximately half a metre high in 1972. Elsewhere the monument has been reduced or levelled by ploughing, and damaged by trackways.
