Summary

A lime kiln recorded as ‘limekiln’ on the second edition (1900-2) Ordnance Survey map, and ‘old limekiln’ on the map revised in 1928. It lay adjacent to the west of a quarry. The date of this kiln is not known but it is most likely to be late nineteenth century. No trace of this limekiln is now visible.
