Monument record MDO37178 - Round barrow, Puddletown
Please read our guidance about the use of Dorset Historic Environment Record data.
Summary
A circular soil mark around 20 metres in diameter visible on aerial photographs dated 2002 and composed of a light area in the centre surrounded by a ring of darker soil. This is interpreted as the remains of a round barrow. The central, chalky area suggests that the mound of the barrow survives, though reduced by ploughing.
