Full Description

An undated pit (110009) was found in evaluation trench 11 of the archaeological evaluation of the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury Water Transfer Scheme route. This pit was sub-circular in plan, about 1.7m across, with steeply sloping sides. The base was not exposed. It had a single fill from which no artefactual material was retrieved.
