Summary
A small undated linear ditch oriented NE-SW was found in evaluation trench 77 of the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury Water Transfer Scheme route. It corresponded to a linear geophysical anomaly.

Full Description
A small undated ditch was identified in the south eastern part of evaluation trench 77 of the archaeological evaluation of the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury Water Transfer Scheme route. This ditch was oriented roughly NE-SW and corresponded to geophysical anomaly 234. It was about 1m wide and 0.3m deep with an irregular narrow-based profile with three identified fills. No artefactual evidence was recovered. [1] [2]
