Summary
Three undated small shallow parallel ditches found on Compton Down in Trench 31 of the evaluation of the route of the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury Water Transfer Scheme in 2012 are probably cultivation marks.

Full Description
Three undated parallel narrow shallow ditches (31002, 31004, 31006) were found within Trench 31 during the evaluation of the proposed route of the Corfe Mullen to Salisbury Water Transfer Scheme in 2012. These features each had a single fill and no finds were recovered. They were aligned parallel to several plough scars and are likely to represent cultivation features. [1]
