Summary

A system of drainage ditches and banks are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948, immediately to the north of the River Simene in the vicinity of the Bridport Medical Centre. Some of the features have been destroyed by the medical centre but other are still extant on recent Google Earth imagery. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.
