Summary

A small structure (4m across)is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948. It is one of a line of three similar structures which are potentially the sites of Second World War pillboxes (MDO37441-3). The structure is still extant on Google Earth imagery taken in 2002 but has since been overgrown with trees, it was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

Full Description

A small structure (4m across) is visible on aerial photographs taken in 1948 (1). It is one of a line of three similar structures which are potentially the sites of Second World War pillboxes (MDO37441-3). The structure is still extant on Google Earth imagery taken in 2002 but has since been overgrown with trees (2). The feature was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.
