Summary
Bank and ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Washingpool Farm, Allington. They are considered likely to be trackways and field boumdaries of post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project. The features overlie the medieval lynchets described in MDO37495.

Bank and ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1948 to the east of Washingpool Farm, Allington. They are considered likely to be trackways and field boumdaries of post medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project. The features overlie the medieval lynchets described in MDO37495 and are still extant on recent lidar imagery. (1-2)
