Summary

Parallel banked linear features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs south of Stepps Farm and on Coneygar Hill. The features are considered to be a field boundaries and strip fields of medieval or later date. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

Full Description

Parallel banked linear features are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery and aerial photographs to the south of Stepps Farm and across Coneygar Hill. The features are considered to be a field boundaries and strip fields of medieval or later date. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.(1-2).
