Summary

A 19th century rifle range is marked on the OS 2st edition map extending south-westward from Coneygar Hill to Green Lane. The targets lay at the bottom of the hill and are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. A hollow is visible at this location on recent lidar imagery. The features were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP project.

A 19th century rifle range is marked on the OS 2st edition map extending south-westward from Coneygar Hill to Green Lane. The targets lay at the bottom of the hill and are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs. A hollow is visible at this location on recent lidar imagery.
