Summary
An extensive series of low earthwork scarps are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on Mangerton Hill. They are located in the vicinity of two disused limekilns marked on the OS 1st edition map. The features are probably the sites of associated quarries. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

An extensive series of low earthwork scarps are visible as earthworks on lidar imagery on Mangerton Hill. They are located in the vicinity of two disused limekilns marked on the OS 1st edition map (MDO1171 and MDO1172). The features are probably the sites of associated quarries. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
