The site of a probable post medieval quarry is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1984 on the south-west slopes of Brown's Hill, Mangerton (1). The modern farm buildings of Mangerton Manor Farm are sited within the quarry. The feature was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
