Summary
An extensive system of banked field boundaries is visible as low earthworks on lidar imagery in the vicinity of Websley Farm, Durweston. The features run from Four Acre Coppice in the east, Roundbush Wood on the northwest and the parish boundary with Bryanston in the south; overall they cover an area of over 126 hectares. The system is considred to be of prehistoric origin, possibly with some later reuse in the medieval period.
