Monument record MDO37677 - Iron Age/Romano British burial at Wyndings, Plaisters Lane, Sutton Poyntz, Weymouth

Summary
A burial discovered in 1996 in the course of line refurbishment works by Southern Electric. The burial was reported to have been at a depth of approximately 1.5 metres, covered by a stone slab, and possibly aligned North West - South East. It is thought probably to be of Iron Age/Romano-British date.
