Summary

A series of parallel earthworks are visible on lidar imagery and aerial photographs in fields to the east and north of Brinsham Farm, Netherbury. They are considered to be settlement features and field boundaries of potentially medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

A series of parallel earthworks are visible on lidar imagery and aerial photographs in fields to the east and north of Brinsham Farm, Netherbury. They are considered to be settlement features and field boundaries of potentially medieval date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP. (1-2). Two linear hollows which run eastwards from the modern settlement may be of natural origin.
