Summary

Full Description

Fragments of a bank and ditched field system are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947-8, in the field to the west of Furleigh Farm (1-3). The features cover an area of over 5.5 hectares and are considered likely to be of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP, it is still extant on vertical photographs take in 2009 (4).
