Summary

Two linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947, running NNW-SSE across the fields between Lower Silkhay Farm and Patley Wood Farm. They are considered to be trackways of medieval or later origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

Two linear ditched features are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1947, running NNW-SSE across the fields between Lower Silkhay Farm and Patley Wood Farm (1). They are considered to be trackways of medieval or later origin. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP and is still visible on the most recent Google Earth imagery.
