Summary
A linear ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Hatchlands. It runs roughly NE-SW along the line of an orchard marked on the OS 1st edition map. The feature is likely to be a field boundary, possibly associated with the orchard, it was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A linear ditched feature is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the south of Hatchlands. It runs roughly NE-SW along the line of an orchard marked on the OS 1st edition map. The feature is likely to be a field boundary, possibly associated with the orchard. It was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP and is not longer visible on recent Google Earth imagery.
