Summary

Parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery at Orchard Hill, Whitecross. Fragments of five linears run roughly east-west, they are considered likely to be the remains of medieval strip cultivation. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
