Wide parallel ridges are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Hingsdon Lane, Whitecross. They are considered to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Wide parallel ridges are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery to the south of Hingsdon Lane, Whitecross (1-2). They are considered to be the remains of medieval ridge and furrow cultivation. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
