Summary

The remains of a field system of uncertain date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on North Warren Hill. The low earthwork lynchets extend over an area of 15 hectares on the southern side and into Crab Coppice. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description

The remains of a field system of uncertain date is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery on North Warren Hill (1-3). The low earthwork lynchets extend over an area of 15 hectares on the southern side and into Crab Coppice. They may be of medieval date but an earlier prehistoric origin is possible. They were digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
