Summary
Two parallel lynchets are visible as earthworks on aerial photographs and lidar imagery running roughly east-west along the south-facing hill-slope to the west of Melplash. They are considered likely to be cultivation terraces or strip lynchets of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

They are considered likely to be cultivation terraces or strip lynchets of medieval or later date. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
