Summary
A large area of post medieval extraction is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs to the southwest of Lower Barrowfield Farm. It lies in the vicinity of (and therefore considered to be associated with) the limekiln described in MDO228. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.

Full Description
A large area of post medieval extraction is visible as earthworks on aerial photographs taken in 1971 to the southwest of Lower Barrowfield Farm (1-2). It lies in the vicinity of (and therefore considered to be associated with) the limekiln described in MDO228. The site was digitally plotted during the Marshwood Vale NMP.
